Solaris is a research and military base of the IUR. It is mostly barren, which makes it ideal for a base.

Solaris has sixteen military bases and three research bases installed on it. These are deep below the surface, located in spots where rockslides and collapses do not happen. Above each military base is a landing dock, which is defended by sixteen IFF railturrets. Solaris is also home to the EM/R field, which adds further protection and security to the worlds in the Maelstrom.
